" New Strategies for Controlling Post-weaning Diarrhea in Piglets " was presented at the 2016 annual academic meeting of the Animal Nutrition and Feed Branch of Guangxi Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society and was accepted and promoted by participating experts, scholars and enterprise technicians.

The 2016 Academic Annual Conference was held on September 24, 2016 at Mingyuan Xindu Hotel, Nanning, Guangxi. More than 300 people, including preaching experts, scholars, members of the society, and enterprise technicians, participated in this academic & technical & experience seminar.

A total of 10 people were arranged to give lectures on academics, new technologies, and new solutions. They were divided into two periods in the morning and afternoon. The content covered ecological breeding (Professor Feng Dingyuan), piglet diarrhea control (Dr. Peng Xianfeng), enzyme application (Dr. Wu Qiangsan), sow nutrition (Dr. Jiang Zongyong, Dr. Wan Haifeng), mineral utilization (Dr. Zhou Lei, Zhou Jianqun senior engineer), non-antibiotic technology (Professor Liang Mingzhen, Dr. Yang Hongye, Dr. Guo Yuguang)

Mr. Peng Xianfeng, CEO & CTO of Guangzhou Insighter Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Ph.D. of Veterinary Pharmacy, gave a speech on "New Strategies for Controlling Post-weaning Diarrhea in Piglets " in the morning. He talked in detail on the company’s eight-year research experience, focusing on experimental methods, pig diarrhea treatment model and conclusion. He proposed for the first time the pathological mechanism and the 5-step strategies (antibacterial, astringent, neutralizing enterotoxin, anti-inflammatory, and anti-secretory) for piglet diarrhea control, and gave a new strategy, recommend application products and solutions for replacing colistin sulfate and zinc oxide in piglet feeds. With the banning of colistin sulfate and the advent of the zinc oxide limit, feed companies, especially pig feed companies, have begun to change the concept of traditional use of drug additives.
